SOUTH BEACH - Originally built in 1938 and later remodeled in the 1950's, the Clevelander Hotel has epitomized the Art Deco architecture typical of Miami's South Beach in that era. The renovation of this historic landmark by Shakman Hospitality showcased their ability to take on the most challenging of projects, both in technical complexity and time constraints. This renovation not only restored the original Clevelander structure to it's former Art Deco glory but transformed it through the addition of a new 15,000 square foot building complete with a basement housing operational support facilities. SHAKMAN'S PERFORMANCE AT THE STAMFORD HOLIDAY INN PLAYS KEY ROLE IN DAVIDSON HOTEL COMPANY BEING AWARDED IHG "PIP RENOVATION AWARD"

STAMFORD, CT - The InterContinental Hotel Group has awarded Davidson Hotel Company its "PIP Renovation Award" for the recently completed renovation of the Stamford Holiday Inn Downtown. Shakman Hospitality was the general contractor on the project. John Belden, President and CEO of Davidson Hotel Company, stated that "In light of the wonderful talents of the Design & Construction team IHG recognized the Stamford Holiday Inn Downtown project for representing the best design, renovation and overall quality in the entire system".  Only a handful of properties receive this distinction each year. SHAKMAN HOSPITALITY RENOVATES THE BRAZILIAN COURT
CONDOMINIUM HOTEL

PALM BEACH - The renovation of this five-diamond historic property, originally built in 1926, includes complete guestrooms, public space, restaurant and spa makeovers. Inside the Brazilian Court, celebrated New York chef Daniel Boulud will open the new Cafe Boulud. Owners and quests will receive the highest degree of craftsmanship and furnishings.
